Endless road. Nothing under it.
Drift a car along an endless road floating in the sky. There's nothing underneath, so keep it on the tarmac.
Banked drifts earn cash. Save up to buy new cars in the garage, from the Compact all the way to the Sport, then pick your paint, tyre smoke and time of day.
Features.
- Every run builds a new road from a random seed: straights, corners, chicanes and climbs up to 13 degrees, on a 24 m deck edged with kerbs.
- A drift meter shows live points, the multiplier, the cash it will pay and a grade from Nice (200 points) to Insane (8,000).
- Ten cars fill the garage: the Compact and Hatchback are free, and the rest cost from $1,500 (Sedan) to $15,000 (Sport).
- Paint (ten colours) and light (Midday, Afternoon, Golden, Dusk) are free, while nine tyre smoke colours run from free White to $6,000 Pink.
- Each car has its own engine sound, generated live with no audio files, from the Compact's four-cylinder to the Sport's V8.
- Settings include Chase, Far and Low cameras, steering help, 2WD or 4WD, speed blur, camera shake and graphics quality from Ultra to Minimal.
How to play.
- Pick a car, paint, smoke and light in the garage, then press Drive.
- Use the handbrake to throw the car into long drifts.
- Stay on the road. Fall off and you lose the drift you were holding, then carry on from just behind where you fell.
- Spend the cash you earn on new cars.
Controls.
- Keyboard
- W A S D or the arrow keys to drive, Space for handbrake, R to respawn, C to change camera, Esc for the menu, T for auto or manual gears, Shift and Ctrl (or E and Q) to change gear, V for 2WD or 4WD, B for steering assist
- Touch
- Left thumb steers, right thumb drives
Tips for Sky Drift.
- Hold one slide as long as you can. The multiplier rises by 0.5 every 2.2 seconds of unbroken drifting, reaching x8 after just over 30 seconds.
- A drift banks 0.8 seconds after the slide ends, as the bar under the meter turns green and empties. Slide again before then and the drift, multiplier included, carries on.
- Points grow with speed and angle. Nothing scores below about 29 km/h or under 11 degrees of slide.
- Past 78 degrees the multiplier badge turns red. Spin past 100 degrees, drop below about 14 km/h or leave the road before banking, and the drift is lost.
- You can hang a wheel over the kerb. You only fall once the car's centre passes the edge, and a red screen glow warns you first.
- Cash comes only from banked drifts, at $1 per 10 points. A fall costs just the unbanked drift: you respawn about 12 m back, score intact.

Sky Drift FAQ.
Can you play Sky Drift on a phone or tablet?
Yes. On a touch screen the lower-left area is a steering pad that centres wherever your thumb lands, with GAS, BRK and E-BRK buttons on the right. It needs WebGL2.
Do your cars and cash save?
Yes, in your browser on that device. Cash, cars, smoke colours, best score and settings save as they change. Clearing site data, private browsing or another browser starts you over.
How do you end a run in Sky Drift?
A fall does not end it. Press Esc or the Menu button, then Garage. Switching tabs pauses the run.
Can you play Sky Drift with a controller?
Yes. The left stick steers, the right trigger accelerates, the left trigger brakes and the bottom face button is the handbrake.
Sky Drift is free to play online, with no download or sign-up. Your progress saves in this browser automatically. Updated .
