Break the fortress. Every hit pays.
130 fortresses stand between you and the Iron Crown. Spend your war chest on soldiers, armoured cars, tanks, artillery and helicopters, send them against the walls and turrets, and smash each fortress's core.
Every hit earns cash for more troops. Beat the target time for a speed bonus, unlock new units as you go, and fight across ten tiers from frontier outposts to the Iron Crown. Watch out: the fortress adapts to how you attack.
Features.
- You command twelve units, from the $50 Soldier to the $2,000 Heavy Helicopter, including an APC that drops three Soldiers at the wall and then drives home.
- Fortresses mount six turret types (MG, Cannon, Anti-Armour, Frag, Anti-Air and Siege Mortar), and each deals different damage to infantry, vehicles, tanks and aircraft.
- A Tower Status panel logs every counter-move the fortress makes, shows its remaining defence budget and counts down to its next adaptation.
- Later maps add hills that slow vehicles on climbs, and plateaus where vehicles must use the ramps while Soldiers scramble up the cliffs.
- Boss cores raise an 18-second shield at 66% and 33% health and call in fresh turrets, and boss fortresses pre-arm against the units you use most.
How to play.
- Check your starting cash and the target time before each assault.
- Pick units from the bar at the bottom of the screen to send them in from your chosen side.
- Break a wall to expose the core, and take out turrets before they cut your troops down.
- Destroy the core to win. Finish under the target time for a speed bonus.

Tips for Overthrow: Tower Attack.
- Mix your army. If one class reaches 45% of your recent deployments and damage, the fortress counters it: Frag for infantry (APCs included), Cannon for light vehicles, Anti-Armour for tanks, Mortar for artillery and Anti-Air for helicopters.
- From level 7, a wall taking 40% of your damage gets reinforced, up to three times. Press Tab to attack from another side.
- Artillery fires from 64 metres, beyond every turret except the 80-metre Siege Mortar. The missile truck's 30 metres outranges MG and Frag turrets.
- Only MG and Anti-Air turrets can hit aircraft, and helicopters can strike inner walls before the outer wall falls.
- Click a turret, or its marker on the fortress plan, to focus fire. Destroyed turrets pay a bonus equal to their full health; turrets toppled with their wall pay nothing extra.
- Your highest bonus on a level becomes the next level's starting cash if it beats that level's minimum, so replaying for a bigger bonus pays off.
